More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Official KellyToy Holiday Christmas Mystery Capsule – 4-inch
This mystery capsule stands out for its fun element of surprise, making it a perfect gift for those who enjoy unwrapping little mysteries. Unlike the larger, more collectible Squishmallows, this 4-inch capsule offers a cute holiday-themed design in a compact size, but the randomness of character and color means it may not satisfy someone looking for a specific character. The plush material is soft and inviting, ideal for quick holiday gifting or stocking stuffers. However, the limited size makes it less suitable for display or collection. Compared with the 5-inch Falala deer, this capsule is more about surprise than display value, which could be a tradeoff for collectors seeking consistency.
Pros:- Cute holiday-themed design
- Soft and plush polyester material
- Variety of characters and colors
Cons:- Character and color are random, may not be preferred
- Limited size for display or collection
Best for: Gifting for kids or friends who love surprises and holiday-themed plushes
Not ideal for: Collectors or fans seeking specific characters or larger display pieces
- Size:4 inches
- Brand:KellyToy
- Material:Polyester
- Subject Character:Animal
- Style:Modern
- Room Type:Living Room
Our verdict“This capsule makes the most sense for gift-givers who want to add a surprise element to holiday presents.”
Squishmallows Falala the Pink Holiday Deer – 5 Inch Plush Toy
Falala the Pink Holiday Deer offers a charming, cuddly size that appeals directly to plush collectors and kids who love a snug, huggable companion. Compared with the 4-inch mystery capsule, Falala is more about consistent comfort and displayability, making it ideal for those who want a tangible, recognizable character. Its compact 5-inch size is perfect for cuddling or placing on a shelf, but may be too small for children seeking larger plush toys for play. The plush material is soft and inviting, though some might find it too small for active play. This pick makes the most sense for collectors or fans of holiday animals who prefer a specific, adorable character to cherish year-round.
Pros:- Cuddly and huggable design
- Compact size perfect for collections
- Great for plush toy enthusiasts
Cons:- Limited size may not appeal to those wanting larger plush toys
- Not ideal for active or rough play
Best for: Plush collectors and kids who want a holiday-themed, huggable toy
Not ideal for: Children seeking larger, more durable plush toys for active play
- Size:5 inches
- Character:Falala the Pink Holiday Deer
Our verdict“This plush makes the most sense for those who want a cute, holiday-themed collectible or cuddly companion.”
Squishmallows Original Harvest 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This exclusive bundle provides a variety of four characters—Ulana the Turkey, River the Blue Beaver, Rhett the French Bulldog, and Alberta the Maple Latte—each with a distinct personality and story, making it ideal for those who love themed collections. Compared with the 5-inch Falala deer, this pack offers more characters in a single purchase, appealing to collectors or gift-givers who want diversity. The plush material is ultrasoft and of high quality, but the lack of detailed size info may be a drawback for those wanting specific display dimensions. This set works best for buyers who want a curated, holiday-themed plush collection or a versatile gift bundle for kids and fans alike.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality plush material
- Each character has a unique bio and personality
- Exclusive bundle only on Amazon
Cons:- Limited to four characters included
- No detailed size information provided
Best for: Collectible enthusiasts and gift givers seeking a themed plush set
Not ideal for: Those seeking larger or more interactive plush toys
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Characters:Ulana, River, Rhett, Alberta
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Exclusive:Amazon
Our verdict“This bundle is perfect for collectors or families wanting a diverse set of holiday plush characters.”
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12-inch Plush
This 12-inch Buddy the Elf plush makes a robust holiday centerpiece or cozy companion, standing out for its larger size and official licensing. Compared with the smaller 4- or 5-inch options, Buddy offers a more substantial presence, perfect for decorating or cuddling during winter nights. It’s crafted from ultrasoft, high-quality material, ensuring a plush feel that’s inviting for children and adults. However, its size limits portability and makes it less suitable for travel or small spaces. The festive design makes it clear this is a seasonal piece, which could be a downside for those wanting a year-round plush. This pick is ideal for those who want a larger holiday plush to enhance seasonal decor or serve as a cuddly holiday gift.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality material for cuddling
- Officially licensed and authentic
- Perfect size for travel and gift-giving
- Festive holiday design
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed use
- Only available in one size
Best for: Holiday decorators and families wanting a standout seasonal plush
Not ideal for: Travelers or those with limited space for larger plush toys
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Buddy the Elf
- Model Name:Style 7
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Toddler
Our verdict“This plush makes the most sense for those seeking a large, festive piece to celebrate the season at home or in decor.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This exclusive holiday set features four plush characters—Maritza the Cactus, Stevon the Golden Retriever, Clayton the Blue Cow, and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte—each with a unique name and bio, appealing to those who enjoy collecting themed plushies. Compared with the smaller capsule and the 5-inch Falala, this set offers a curated variety of characters in a compact package, making it ideal for gift-giving or building a holiday collection. The plush material is ultrasoft and of high quality, but the set’s size may be too small for some collectors or kids who prefer larger plush toys for active play or display. This makes it a strong choice for buyers who want a ready-made, themed plush set for holiday cheer or gifting.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality plush material
- Unique characters with individual bios
- Exclusive holiday-themed set
Cons:- Limited to Amazon availability
- May be too small for some collectors
Best for: Kids and collectors wanting a variety of holiday-themed plush characters
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger, more durable, or interactive plush toys
- Includes:4 plush Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Exclusive:Amazon
Our verdict“This set is ideal for those looking to add a festive, varied plush collection or gift bundle to their holiday decor.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive four-pack offers a festive mix of plush characters like Ingred the Purple Cow and Luna the Penguin, making it ideal for holiday gifting or expanding a seasonal collection. Compared with the Fleur the Yule Log plush, this set provides more characters in a single bundle, but the smaller size and limited design details mean it’s less suited for display or long-term display. The plush are ultrasoft, ensuring cuddly comfort, but their holiday-only theme limits year-round appeal. The unique bios add a personal touch, perfect for kids or fans who enjoy character stories. However, collectors seeking detailed or larger plush might find these too small and simple.
Pros:- Soft and cuddly ultrasoft material
- Festive holiday-themed characters
- Includes unique bios for each plush
- Exclusive Amazon bundle
Cons:- Limited to holiday characters only
- May be too small for serious collectors
Best for: Families seeking a bundled holiday gift or collectors looking to expand their seasonal plush lineup
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting detailed, display-worthy plush or those preferring year-round characters
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Item Details:Includes 4 plush characters
Our verdict“This set is perfect for holiday gifting and casual collectors seeking a quick festive plush addition.”
Squishmallows Original 2024 Christmas 4-Inch Holiday Mystery Capsules (One Random Color)
This mystery capsule offers a small, soft plush in a random color, adding an element of surprise and excitement to holiday gifting. Unlike the larger Fleur the Yule Log, which is ideal for display, these capsules prioritize the thrill of the unknown, making them appealing for younger kids or those who enjoy blind bags. The plush are squishy and cuddly, but the randomness means you can’t choose a specific character, which could disappoint collectors seeking particular favorites. Limited to a single capsule per purchase, this pick emphasizes surprise over customization, but that tradeoff keeps it affordable and fun for casual fans.
Pros:- Soft and squishy plush toy, ideal for cuddling
- Surprise element with a random color
- Officially licensed and suitable for all ages
Cons:- Random color may not match preferences
- Limited to one capsule per purchase
Best for: Holiday gift givers wanting a fun, surprise plush for all ages or collectors seeking mystery items
Not ideal for: Buyers who want specific characters or larger plush for display purposes
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Squishy
- Model Number:sqns72321123
- Number of Packs:1
- UPC:191726808473
- Model Series:Original Squishmallows
Our verdict“This capsule is a delightful surprise for holiday gift exchanges and collectors who enjoy mystery plush toys.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar delivers 24 miniature 2.5-inch Micromallows, each representing a different holiday character like Benny the Bigfoot or Cam the Cat. Compared to the Fleur Yule Log, which offers a single plush, this calendar encourages daily engagement and collection over nearly a month. The small size makes it easy to display or gift, but it limits the visual impact of each piece, making it less suitable as a display item for collectors seeking larger or more detailed plush. It’s ideal for kids and fans who enjoy the anticipation of daily surprises, though those unfamiliar with Squishmallows may find the collection less meaningful.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed plush toys
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small plush toys only
- May not appeal to those unfamiliar with Squishmallows
Best for: Parents and kids looking for a festive countdown or collectors who enjoy daily surprises
Not ideal for: Those preferring larger plush or characters with more detailed designs for display
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is a lively way to count down to Christmas, especially for fans of daily surprises and smaller plush collectibles.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
Fleur the Yule Log stands out for its detailed design and festive charm, making it a great centerpiece during the holiday season. Unlike the multi-character packs, this 8-inch plush emphasizes quality craftsmanship and character appeal, perfect for display or gifting. Its plush material is ultrasoft, and the inclusion of a bio and name adds to its collectible appeal. However, its holiday-only theme limits year-round use, and the single size option might not suit everyone’s collection preferences. It’s ideal for those who want a character with personality and presence rather than just a cuddly toy.
Pros:- Soft and cuddly with high-quality materials
- Unique character with festive holiday theme
- Comes with a bio and name, making it collectible
- Ideal for display during the holidays
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed design
- Only available in one size (8 inches)
Best for: Collectors and families wanting a high-quality holiday plush for display or gifting
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger, more detailed plush or plushes suitable for year-round play
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“Fleur the Yule Log offers a charming, collectible holiday plush for those who value detail and display presence.”
Squishmallows Christmas Holiday Winter 8″ Cam Plush with Blue Scarf and Hat
This 8-inch Cam plush captures the holiday spirit with its blue scarf and hat, making it a cozy winter companion. Compared to Fleur the Yule Log, Cam emphasizes a more playful, approachable look, ideal for kids or those who prefer a casual holiday vibe. The plush is ultrasoft and perfect for cuddling, but its holiday-only theme means it may not fit into a collection looking for year-round characters. Its smaller size makes it easy to incorporate into holiday decor or gift exchanges, though some may wish for a larger, more detailed plush for display purposes.
Pros:- Soft and cuddly for comfort
- Festive holiday design with accessories
- Collectible size perfect for gifting
Cons:- Limited to holiday season
- Small size may not satisfy collectors seeking display plush
Best for: Parents and holiday gift buyers seeking a cute, cozy plush for children or festive decor
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting highly detailed or display-worthy plush for year-round use
- Size:8 inches
- Character:Cam
- Theme:Christmas/Holiday
- Material:Super-soft plush
Our verdict“Cam with his holiday accessories makes a charming, cuddly gift for kids and fans of seasonal plushes.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
When choosing a Squishmallows holiday product, consider several important factors that influence both your satisfaction and the value you get. It’s easy to focus on design alone, but size, exclusivity, and interactive features can significantly affect how well a plush fits your needs. Understanding these factors helps avoid common pitfalls like overpaying for limited editions or ending up with a size that’s impractical for your space or gifting goals. Here’s what to keep in mind:Size and Portability
Size influences both display possibilities and portability. Smaller plushes, like the 4-inch capsules, are easy to stash or gift, making them ideal for stocking stuffers or collectors with limited space. Larger options, such as the 12-inch Buddy the Elf, serve as standout decorations or cuddly companions. Consider where you’ll keep or gift the plush and how much display space you have. Remember, larger plushes often come at a higher cost but provide more visual impact.
Design and Character Appeal
Choosing a plush with a strong holiday theme or a favorite character can significantly enhance its sentimental value. Characters like Falala the Pink Holiday Deer bring seasonal charm, while mystery capsules add surprise and collectibility. Be mindful that exclusive packs or mystery capsules may limit your character choices, so if you have a favorite holiday character, look for specific designs. Prioritize designs that resonate emotionally or visually to ensure the plush remains meaningful beyond the season.
Exclusivity and Packaging
Exclusive sets and mystery capsules often deliver unique or limited-edition designs, but they can also come with a premium price. These options tend to appeal to dedicated collectors who value rarity and themed packaging. However, they may also be less versatile for everyday use. Consider whether exclusivity aligns with your collecting goals or gift intentions, and be aware that limited editions might not be available after the season ends, affecting long-term value.
Interactive Features and Packaging
Some holiday Squishmallows include interactive elements, such as advent calendars or mystery capsules, which add a playful dimension to gifting or collecting. These features can make the plush more engaging for kids or serve as memorable holiday surprises. Beware, however, that interactive or themed packaging sometimes increases the price and may focus more on presentation than plush quality. Decide if added features align with your gifting style or collection strategy.
Value and Budget Considerations
Balancing cost against quality and size is key. Multi-pack sets often offer the best value for those looking to expand their collection without a steep investment, while premium larger plushes suit buyers wanting a seasonal statement piece. Be cautious of paying for limited editions or exclusive packaging if your primary goal is everyday cuddling or display. Clear budget planning ensures you get the most festive cheer without overspending.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows holiday collections limited-edition?
Many Squishmallows holiday products are released as limited editions, designed to celebrate the season. This means they might only be available for a short window each year, often selling out quickly. If you’re a collector or want a specific character, it’s wise to purchase early or look for pre-order options. Keep in mind that after the holiday season, these items may no longer be available, impacting long-term availability and value.
Should I buy a smaller or larger holiday Squishmallow?
The choice depends on your intended use. Smaller plushes, like 4-inch capsules, are portable, affordable, and ideal for stocking stuffers or gift exchanges. Larger sizes, such as 12 inches, make more prominent holiday decorations and offer a cuddly experience. Larger plushes tend to be more expensive but provide a stronger visual presence. Consider where and how you’ll display or gift your Squishmallow to pick the right size.
Are exclusive holiday packs worth the extra cost?
Exclusive holiday packs often include unique designs or packaging that can’t be found elsewhere, making them appealing for collectors or gift-givers seeking special items. However, they usually come at a premium and may only be available for a limited time. If your goal is to add a seasonal plush to your collection or gift something memorable, these packs are worthwhile. Otherwise, standard singles or multi-packs may offer better value for everyday use.
Can I mix and match holiday Squishmallows with regular ones?
Absolutely. Holiday Squishmallows are designed to complement regular collections, adding seasonal flair without replacing everyday favorites. Mixing them can create a festive display or themed collection that highlights different characters or sizes. Keep in mind, holiday designs may be more delicate or seasonal, so store them carefully if you plan to keep them for multiple seasons.
What’s the best way to care for my holiday Squishmallow?
Most Squishmallows, including holiday-themed ones, are machine washable on a gentle cycle, making cleanup straightforward. Use mild detergent and air dry to maintain their softness and shape. For plushes with special packaging or interactive features, spot cleaning is recommended to preserve details. Proper care extends the life of your plush and keeps it looking festive season after season.
Conclusion
For collectors seeking the best overall holiday Squishmallow, the KellyToy Mystery Capsule offers surprise value and seasonal charm. Budget shoppers will find the Original Holiday 4-Pack provides variety at a lower price, making it perfect for gifting or casual collecting. Those wanting a statement piece should consider the larger Buddy the Elf 12-inch plush, which adds a festive touch to any decor. Beginners or gift-givers might prefer themed advent calendars or smaller plushes for their versatility and fun factor. Ultimately, your choice depends on whether you prioritize size, character, exclusivity, or budget — but all options celebrate the holiday spirit in plush form.
